This morning the road to Yeovil via Stoford was not passable due to flood water. These pictures were taken mid afternoon when I returned on my bike.
The view across Smith’s bridge. This Land Rover had decided to turn round!
A wise move. The marker showed the water depth to be 2 feet.
The road looks more like a river!
Back at the bridge. The water is nearly at the top of the arches.
From the bridge you can normally just see a narrow river.
Meadows in full flood.
