25 July 2009 - Weymouth

A late Saturday afternoon walk along the beach.

Starting from the western end of the beach near the pavilion.

There were a lot of people out enjoying the rare sunny day.

A site I have not seen for a long time, Donkey rides along the beach.

There have been sand sculptures here for as long as I can remember. The current work in progress is the four main characters from the Wizard of Oz film. Dorothy’s likeness to Judy Garland is amazing.

At the end of the walk back near the pavilion. This shot has been enhanced using the HDR technique.
