July 2015 Amboise is a town in central France’s Loire Valley. It's known for the Château d'Amboise, the grand 15th-century residence of King Charles VIII.
We parkeed in Rue Victor Hugo. This was our first view of the Château d'Amboise.
Place Michel Debré. I wonder how old some of these buildings are?
The very strong defensive walls of the Château.
We bought some bottles of wine from “Caveau des Vignerons d'Amboise” which is located below the Chateau on the left of this photo.
Time for a morning coffee stop.
How nice not to see yellow lines everywhere.
The Loire and Pont du Maréchal Leclerc.
A view from the river banks of the Château d'Amboise.
