A visit to Jane Austen's House museum in the Hampshire village of Chawton.

Approaching the house from the village car park. Chawton was the home for Jane Austen for the last eight years of her life.

The house dates from the 17th century and has undergone a few extensions over the years.

This is the room in which Jane did her writing.

And here is the small round table complete with quill pen.
