Fontmell Down

26 May 2009 - Fontmell Down

We used to visit Fontmell Down quite often when we lived in Shaftesbury. This is my first visit for Dorsetcamera. My purpose was to see how the orchids were doing this year. I seemed to have caught the gap between the early purples and the later flowering orchids. There were several early purples that had flowered but were now past their best.
So instead of orchid pictures a few shots from my walk around the Down.
