A visit to Stembridge Tower Mill which is in the care of the National Trust. The mill is half a mile east of High Ham.
The mill dates from 1822 and is the last surviving thatched windmill in England. The mill has recently undergone an extensive renovation.
An alternative angle on the mill. The bush on the right is a Mulberry as depicted in the children’s nursery rhyme “Here we go round the mulberry bush”.
