20 April 2008 - Templecombe

A long overdue visit on my bike to photograph a place I drive through every work day. However, time was limited so only a few photographs on this occasion.

The Royal Wessex pub situated next to the railway line.

The view down the main road which I see every morning on my way to work. It is quite common for lorries to get stuck under the low bridge! Templecombe used to be a busy railway junction. The old Somerset and Dorset railway used to run through and cross the main line from Exeter to Waterloo here.
